One of the classes I took during UGA’s Cannes Lions Study Abroad program was Global Topics and Brand Communication and our final project was to create an advertising campaign, adjunct to one of the campaigns that we saw at the festival. For this project, I worked with my group members, Ashleigh Burroughs, Mindy Osler, and Emma Darling to create a campaign as an off-shoot of Gillette’s “The Best a Man Can Be” campaign. We came up with “The Best a Man Can Give”, a multi-faceted marketing campaign with outdoor advertisements, social media posts, and most importantly- a physical product. The entire campaign is centered around the physical product, a kid-friendly version of Gillette’s razors and shave gel so that dads can share the shaving experience with their young sons, while also teaching them important life lessons.
